Casey Hudson, Head Coach
Casey is from Colorado Springs, CO where he wrestled at Widefield High School. There he earned 4 varsity letters, a regional title, and was a 2 time state qualifier. Casey still holds the WHS Single Season Takedown record with 132. Casey was also a two time state placer in Colorado for both Freestyle and Greco. In college he attended Fort Hays State University where he earned a varsity letter for the Tigers. Casey graduated in December of 2010 with a B.B.A in Business Management. He was the head wrestling coach at the University of Texas at Arlington from 2012-2017, and has also coached several youth and high school wrestlers.
Aeron Hill, Head Coach
Entering his third year with the club, Aeron is the head instructor and technique coach for the team. He was a 4 year varsity wrestler at Arlington Bowie High School and was a UIL State Runner-Up in 2005. He won 6 different Texas state titles wrestling in Freestyle and Greco while in high school. After high school Coach Aeron attended the University of Nebraska Kearney, a NCAA Division II power house where earned a varsity letter. In the fall of 2010, he earned his degree in Social Science from UNK. Aeron has coached both Freestyle and Greco for Team Texas from 2006 until 2009 prior to coaching at MWC.
Jeff Hudson, Assistant Coach
Coach Jeff Hudson has a ton of experience working with young athletes. He was the assistant coach to both his sons in high school, and was a co-founder of the Widefield Youth Wrestling Club in Colorado. Jeff has over 25 years experience coaching competitive youth sports.
Gene Brown, Assistant Coach
Coach Brown, a native of Ohio was 4 year NCWA Qualifier for the University of Texas Arlington. He earned 2 conference championships during his tenure at UTA. Gene has over 15 years experience coaching on the mat, and also works directly with paralympians for the university and is currently the Head Coach of the University of Arlington Texas wrestling team.
Jeremy Jameson, Assistant Coach
Coach Jeremy Jameson joins the wrestling club for his second year coaching on the mat. Using his prior wrestling experience, he works with the younger Mansfield wrestlers looking to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Coach Jameson has worked with young athletes in other sports as well.
